God is the centre of your joy because He has good thoughts towards you, to prosper you and bring you to an expected end. He doesn’t have a problem with you being rich after all, it is the blessings of God that makes you rich.
The problem is replacing God with the riches you have! The Lord is looking for men who don’t serve Him for things but desire Him for who He is. Don’t allow the things of life take the place of the One that brought the things in the first place!
