Vice Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi has reacted to the ugly experience shared by filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba in the hands of Lagos airport officials on twitter.
Obi apologised for the experience she went through and suggested that things can be better and how to get them done.
“Hello Kemi. Congratulations on your blockbuster film, #KingOfBoys. I’m sorry you went through that experience. I agree that things can be better. How? Press RESET on service reforms by retraining public servants to serve, rather than harass Nigerians and visitors”.
Kemi Adetiba had yesterday shared the unfortunate experience she had at the Lagos airport where customs officials attempted to harass and bully her when they couldn’t get money from her.
And this is barely three days after actor, Aremu Afolayan shared similar experience at the same Lagos airport.
Thank you, Sir. Will look out for more of plans and strategies. https://t.co/4W0ECG40Em
