Members of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) and Jamatul Nasral Islam (JNI) stated this in Gombe on Thursday during the state quarterly review meeting on child spacing.

Rev. Bulus Bulama, Secretary CAN Gombe state chapter said child spacing had a strong place in the Bible and the Christian communities in the state were in support of the programme.

He said churches in the state had started coming out with documents telling people the need to embrace it.
