The council said that the activities of all staff unions in the institution were suspended with immediate effect, and directed all staff to resume work.

The council also directed the management to open attendance for staff to sign, invoke the ‘No work, No pay’ policy of government, dissolve the students’ union and declare two weeks break for the students.

It urged members of staff to resume work immediately, sign the attendance register and go about their normal duties without fear of molestation.
