Trino Studios, a film production company located in Lagos debuts its first feature film ”Sylvia” on Thursday at the Silverbird Cinemas, Victoria Island, Lagos.
It is a tale of love, lust, betrayal and obsession.
Directed by Daniel Oriahi and written by Vanessa Kanu, the movie is about Chris Attoh starring as Richard Okezie and Zainab Balogun playing the role of Sylvia, his lifelong imaginary friend and lover whom he only sees in his dreams.
Sweetness turns sour when Richard meets Ini Dima Okojie- Gbemi in the real world, falls head over heels in love with her and even marries her. This makes Sylvia take a decision to destroy Richard’s close to perfect life.
In this one, the producer is focused on the every day complexities of relationships, mental health and the real versus the surreal world.
