In his Sallah message released by his media office, Isiaka said that it was only when the people become united in prayers and supplication to Almighty Allah that “we can receive His benevolence and mercy.”

“We must also imbibe the lessons of Eid-el-Kabir which among other things include love, tolerance, sacrifice, humility, sharing, religious and peaceful co-exitence. Eid-el-Kabir is not only for merry-making, we must live the lessons from the submission of Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail, to the commandment of their creator.”

The two time gubernatorial candidate further highlighted unity as vital ingredient needed by the people to demand good governance and better welfare from the leaders.

He said, “As another general election approaches, the people must look beyond prayers and sacrifices, speak with one voice in demanding a better life; which starts with making credible choices to lead. But if the people are not together, insincere persons will creep in again.”
