Co-founder of Newswatch magazine and ace journalist, Mr Ray Ekpu on Monday 6th August 2018, celebrated his 70th birthday and 45 years of being a journalist par excellence.

His birthday was marked with a colloquium tagged “Nigeria: The Leadership Question”, which was put together in his honour to interrogate leadership challenges in Nigeria, a topic very dear to his heart.

The event had in attendance representatives of the governors of Lagos and Akwa Ibom states respectively, Chief Olusegun Osoba, Prof Pat Utomi, Hon Dubem Onyia, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi and a host of other notable dignitaries both in the media and the political sphere.
