Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed has decamped from the All Progressives Congress, APC, to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Ahmed decamped shortly after the Senate President, Bukola Saraki dumped the APC.
Ahmed announced his defection on his twitter handle, @AbdulfataAhmed on Tuesday.
Ahmed, who is a staunch supporter of Saraki said in a tweet that “following consultations and in response to calls by major stakeholders in the state, I have moved to the PDP as APC can no longer serve as a platform for achieving the aspirations and expectations of my people.”
