Lekki TV inaugurates studio

Online entertainment platform, Lekki TV, on Friday inaugurated a photography and video studio in a bid to boost local content in entertainment.

Chairman, Lekki TV, Dr John Ayeke, told newsmen at the event that the organisation was committed to encouraging local productions.

According to Ayeke, the entertainment industry is the future of Nigeria.

He said that Lekki TV would produce entertainment and other programmes that would suit the Nigerian society.

“The aim of Lekki TV is to create a platform for upcoming generations to grow in the entertainment industry.

“Our focus is on the music and movie industries, sourcing out local content and pushing it out to the world.

“It is mainly an online platform with over 20 shows that are free to air at present.

“We are giving opportunities to upcoming artistes to showcase their talents and secure international opportunities,” Ayeke said.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr Samuel Oladoye, the Managing Director of Lekki TV, urged Nigerians to invest in the entertainment industry to make Nigeria greater.

Oladoye also called for the Federal Government to encourage the development of talents.

Lekki TV started operations recently.
