Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Jos, Plateau State over mayhem in the state which has so far claimed over 86 lives.
Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, in a tweet, said the president has arrived Jos to meet with the government and community leaders.
“In Jos, Plateau State, President Muhammadu Buhari will condole with people and government of the State over the recent killings and will also meet with with community leaders and other stakeholders as the FG’s effort to find a lasting solution to the crisis across the country,” Ahmad said.
Plateau State was on Sunday thrown into mourning with the killing of 86 persons in the attacks on about 11 communities in the Gashish District by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
