The Lagos Water Corporation, LWC, has launched its billing and collection platform called ‘LWC mobile.’

The Managing Director/CEO, LWC, Engr. Muminu Badmus revealed this at the weekend while meeting with media in Lagos.

“This is one of the corporation’s efforts, in conformity with the state’s cashless policy embarked upon by the Lagos State Government,” he said.

Badmus said the main objective of the platform was to improve the efficiency in the processes of billing collection and customers management.

He added that, the App is designed for the customers to enable send requests or complaints, check payments, accounts statement and any other related records in terms of consumption, meter reading, among others, noting that the App is customer friendly.

“The beauty of the app is that customers can make payments through the App in the comfort of their homes,” he said.

The App also has various supporting information, like LWC addresses, process of connection and so on.

Badmus stressed that the App is presently working and enjoined the customers to log-in and use, saying that it is very convenient, as it made payments much more easier than going to the banks for payment.

“Customers can pay any amount irrespective of the amount stated on the bills. Other Payments channels are through: Internet, POS, Banks etc,” he stated.

The LWC, Head (Sales and Commercial), Mr. Ajose Micheal, urged Lagosians to enjoy the corporation’s improved service delivery by connecting to the public water, and get connected within three days.

“Customers can now connect water online or download the connection form from the LWC website, fill and submit online or to the LWC nearest zonal or regional offices nearest to them and get connected within three days,” he said.
