Buhari appoints Keyamo as spokesman for 2019 presidential election

Human rights activist and lawyer Festus Keyamo has been appointed as the Director, Strategic Communications of the Muhammadu Buhari
Campaign Organisation for the 2019 presidential election.

In a letter sent to Keyamo by Mr. Rotimi Amaechi who is the Minister of Transport as well as the Director-General of the Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organisation, he said the human right attorney will be the spokesperson of the campaign organisation.

In a tweet today, Keyamo revealed the appointment letter dated 16 April, 2018, appointing him as Buhari’s spokesman for the 2019 presidential election.

The letter reads: “I am pleased to convey to you the decision of the President Muhammadu Buhari Campaign Organization to appoint you as Director, Strategic Communications in respect of the forthcoming campaigns for the 2019 Presidential Elections.”

“In your capacity, you are to be the Spokesperson for the campaigns during the nomination process and also the subsequent campaigns for the 2019 Presidential Election.”
