Fayose orders arrest of Tiv man who killed Fulani herdsman

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State on Wednesday ordered the arrest and prosecution of a Tiv man who allegedly killed a Fulani herdsman in his state.

The governor in a tweet said he would not accept the killing of anyone in Ekiti whether he is Yoruba, Fulani, Tiv or Igbo.

Read the governor’s tweet below: ”On Monday night, I was told about the killing of one Fulani man in Oke Ako.They claimed it was a Tiv man that killed the Fulani man,I want the killer arrested & prosecuted.
I won’t accept killing of anyone here in Ekiti.Be you Yoruba,Fulani, Tiv or Igbo, I must protect your life.”
