NURTW Lagos Boss Lauds Ambode Over Good Governance

The Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW), Lagos State chapter ,Mr. Tajudeen Agbede has commended Lagos State governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, for his resolve to ensure that the state fully attains its status as African modern megacity status.

The NURTW, Lagos Chairman, Tajudeen Agbede said this when the Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard, group led by Seyi Bamigbade the State Coordinator canvassing for the re-election of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode in year 2019 visited the NURTW Lagos chapter newly secretariat in Orile Agege, Lagos.

According to him, Ambode led government’s vigorous pursuit of infrastructural development has without any reservation led to the progress of all and sundry in the state.

He added that his efforts can be seen in the numbers of good roads, security, health, food sufficiency, massive infrastructure, employment opportunity and increase in the state’s Internally- Generated Revenue (IGR).

Agbede contended that the governor had within the shortest period set a new record in governance, assuring that no effort would be spared in ensuring that the second term was achieved for him.

Also speaking, the Coordinator-General of Itesiwaju Ipinle Eko Vanguard, Seyi Bamigbade, said, “We know you have been supporting the governor in his political career but this coming election we want you to triple his votes. This we can you can achieve by giving him total support and endorsement.

Bamigbade urged the NUTRW Lagos state chairman to mobilize for the ongoing Voters Card registration and the All Progressive Congress membership registration.

He added that his group is interested in the sustenance of the good governance in the state, noting that the only way to show appreciation for what had been achieve in the state is to support the governor.
