Real Madrid came from a goal down to beat Al Jazira 2-1 to reach the Club World Cup final in the United Arab Emirate, UAE, with goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale sending them through.

Al Jazira have shocked the football world when they led star-studded Madrid side 1-0 in the first half after Romarinho struck on 41 minutes.

A lapse of concentration in the Real Madrid defence has them on the back foot and Romarinho makes them pay.

The Brazilian striker latches on to a clever pass from Morocco winger Mbark Boussoufa, cuts back on to his left foot and curls the ball past Keylor Navas in the Real Madrid goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo drew Madrid level in the 53rd minute of the game. A superb through ball from Luka Modric finds Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portugal forward shows his world-class finishing skills as he beats Al Jazira’s offside trap and then angles a shot past Al-Senani’s despairing dive and into the corner of the net.

Bale, who came in as a substitute for Benzema made an immediate impact in the match and did not dissapoint.

A fine team move sees the ball is cut back by Lucas Vazquez for Bale and his low shot beats Khaled Al-Senani. Cristiano Ronaldo rather cheekily attempts to pinch the goal with a flick of his foot, but it definitely belongs to Bale.
