Manchester City tamed Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, winning 2-1 as it opened 11-point gap at the top of the Premier League.

David Silver opened scoring for City on 43 minutes to make it 1-0 in the local derby.

Kevin de Bruyne’s corner is flicked on by either Nicolas Otamendi or Romelu Lukaku, it drops for David Silva onside and he hooks in another acrobatic volley.

United responded quickly in first half added time in the 47 minute when Marcus Rashford equalised.

City restored their lead in the 54 minute through Nicolas Otamendi.

He buries the ball in the back of the net. Otamendi was in the right place at the right time to get to the rebound inside the box and gleefully rifles the ball into the top of the net.
