Gov. Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom has advised the state  chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) across the country to initiate positive changes that will bring back the party to power in 2019.

Emmanuel gave the advice in Uyo on Wednesday when the chairmen of the PDP state chapters, led by Akwa Ibom chairman, Mr Paul Ekpo, paid him a courtesy visit.

The governor expressed the hope that the meeting of PDP chapter chairmen would be an avenue to strategise on issues that would make the party stronger than before.

He told the chairmen of the state chapters of PDP to evolve ways of repositioning the party for positive impact and also endear it to the electorate.
