Gov. Darius Ishaku of Taraba, has warned residents of the state to be wary of the activities of unscrupulous medicine dealers, who sell fake drugs, thereby, endangering the health of the people.
Ishaku gave the warning on Tuesday in Takum, while addressing some groups of people as part of Sallah celebration.
The governor, who decried the activities of fake medicine dealers, said government had taken steps to secure public health through what he described as a ‘Revolving Drugs Scheme.’
According to him, through the scheme, government had procured drugs, which were being sold at affordable prices across various public health facilities in the state.

Ishaku appealed to the people to embrace his revitalised drugs revolving scheme for effective health care delivery in the state.
The governor solicited the support of the people to enable him serve them better.
