Sallah prayers were observed peacefully across Yobe on Friday as hundreds of faithful trooped to their Eid praying grounds.

Security agents were vigilant at the praying grounds and other strategic locations across the state.

The state government on Thursday announced a 13-hour restriction of vehicular movement to boost security across the state.

The residents offered prayers for peaceful Sallah celebrations and commended the efforts of the Buhari administration to wipe out insurgency.

Mustapha kaumi, a resident in Damaturu, said: “we give gratitude to Allah, the Muhammadu Buhari administration and our gallant security forces for bringing sanity back to the North-east.’’
