Manchester City began their campaign for Premier League trophy with 2-0 victory away at Brighton & Hove Albion.

The newly promoted side held the experienced City side to a goaless score till the 70th minute when Sergio Aguero opened scoring for the visitor.

Dale Stephens is day dreaming on the halfway line and loses the ball. David Silva slips the ball through to Sergio Aguero, who smashes the ball past Mat Ryan.

An own goal from Lewis Dunk gave City 2-0 and ensured they emerged victory and claimed the three points at stake.

Sergio Aguero gets the ball to Fernandinho down the right and Lewis Dunk heads the Brazilian’s cross past his own keeper. He was under pressure but he got so much power in it, it’s like he was at the other end trying to score.
