A 27-years old man, Daniel Chukuemeka, was on Friday arraigned in an Asaba Magistrates’ Court, for allegedly robbing a woman of her Toyota Venza car.

Chukuemeka is standing trial on a two-count charge of attempting to rob and armed robbery.

The Prosecutor, Mrs Ndidi Ahamefuna, told the court that the accused robbed the victim of the car with the registration number FST 852 at gun point.

Ahamefuna said that the accused committed the offence on June 17, in Asaba Housing Estate, Asaba.
