Vice Chancellor, Anchor University, Prof. Joseph Afolayan has charged students in the country to have plan for a purpose-driven future.
Afolayan spoke at the 2017 Valedictory Service and Graduation Ceremony of Jextoban Secondary School recently.
He said for the youths to overcome the countless challenges confronting them, they must be purposive in life.
According to him, “There are countless challenges confronting the youths today bringing about a major distortion of purposes and plans. But, it’s your life, to be the best, you need to define your purpose and dare the impossible.”
Afolayan noted that the place of purpose was where a person’s greatest strength lied and that it was “where the greatest and the most successful version of you could be found.”
To live a fulfilled life, he said everyone must discover his purpose and strive to deliver where it mattered most.
Also with the Vice Chancellor at the ceremony were his wife, Mrs Joanna A. Afolayan; the Chairman, Board of Governors, Pastor E.A Ojo; the Proprietress of Jextoban, Mrs A.A. Ojo; the Principal, E.A Adegoke; and the Guest Minister Pastor Uche Uwenchia.
