A downpour in Enugu on Sunday stalled week 32 match of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) between Rangers Football Club and Rivers United after 21 minutes of play.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the pitch was waterlogged making it difficult for the match, which was still goalless, to continue.
The center referee, Assessor Taminu ended the match with instruction from match commissioner Ova Taiwo.
The match was however, postponed till Monday, July 31 for completion.
NAN reports that this is the second time Rangers match was postponed in July.
