Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State has approved the appointment of board members for the state Radio Corporation.
This was announced in a statement on Sunday in Kano by the state Commissioner for Information, Alhaji Mohammad Garba.
”The appointment, which is in line with the law establishing the corporation, is based on their (appointees) proven integrity, competence, credibility and track record of professionalism,” it said.
The new Chairman of the board is Malam Ibrahim Ahmed Karaye.
Members include Maryam Babayaro, Abdulkadir Ibrahim Kwakwatawa, Gambo Mustapha, Sammani Sharif, Sale Jili and a representative of the Ministry of Information
The Managing Director of the Corporation, Hajiya Saadatu Babaji, is to serve as Member/Secretary.
