Cleric Urges Continuous Prayers For Buhari

An Islamic cleric, Malam Tasiu Ibrahim, on Saturday called on Muslims to take advantage of the Ramadan period to intensify prayers for God’s intervention in the nation’s affairs.

The cleric said at Paiko Local Government Area of Niger that Nigerians should continue to also pray for the quick recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Ibrahim called on Nigerian to pray for the economic recovery of the country, adding that prayers can hasten the recovery process of the president.

He noted that the president’s health challenge was tough and required more prayers from all Nigerians to move the hand of God to heal him

“This is the moment when all Nigerians irrespective of religious, politics or ethnic affiliations should commit their leaders in fervent prayers for God’s intervention in our nation’s socio-economic activities,“ he said.

Ibrahim also called on Nigerians to support the efforts of security agencies by coming out with intelligence information that would lead to the arrest of all those involved in cattle rustling, kidnappings and armed robbery in the country.

He said that it was by doing so that security personnel deployed to fight criminal activities would succeed to enable government concentrate in providing democracy dividends to the people.
