Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace as Real Madrid demolish Juventus 4-1 to win their 12th Champions League trophy.

With the win, Madrid become the first team to win the Champions League back to back, having won it in 2016.

Also coach Zidane becomes to the first player to win the champions as player and as coach back to back.

Juventus dominated early possession, but it was Real Madrid that opened the scoring in the 20th minute of play with Ronaldo’s low drive beaten Bufon who had a bad game for the night in front of the 65,842 spectators at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.

Juventus’ pressure paid off immediately when Mario Mandzukic scored a spectacular goal to equalise for Juventus in the 27th minute, making the first half to end at 1-1.

Casemiro gave Madrid the lead again when his shot in the 61st minute of the second half found the net.

Ronaldo was again on duty as he scored his second goal to give Madrid 3-1 lead in the 64th minute of the game.

Juan Cuadrado got a red card in the 84th minute of the game for acting stupidly after he was fouled. He got a second yellow card which translated to his being sent off.

Substitute Marco Asensio scored few minutes he got into the pitch in the 90th minute to complete Juventus annihilation.
