U.S. astronauts Peggy Whitson and Jack Fischer, who earlier this month conducted the International Space Station’s (ISS) landmark 200th spacewalk, are set to venture outside the station for emergency repair work.

“The astronauts were tasked with replacing a recently failed data relay box that controls the functionality of station components such as the solar arrays, radiators, cooling loops and other systems,’’ NASA said in a statement on Tuesday.
