Leader Chelsea stumble to a shocking 2-1 defeat at Stanford Bridge as struggling Crystal Palace claim a famous victory.

Cesc Fabregas gave Chelsea the lead in the 5th minute of the game to give the leader hope of another victory.

Palace equalised nine minutes later when Wilfried Zaha scored for the visitors to make the game 1-1.

The visitors took a shocking lead in the 11th minute of the first half through Christian Benteke to make it 2-1.

The second half was goalless as Chelsea struggled to break a resilient Palace defence.

Palace held out for a famous victory as 2-0 victory for Tottenham against Burnley cut Chelsea’s lead at the top to seven.
