“I have discussed with the REC Ondo State on the problems with card readers at most polling units,’’ he added.

Also speaking, the governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy, Olusola Oke, lamented the malfunctioning of the card readers deployed by INEC.

Oke said this in an interview with newsmen after he had voted at his Igbo Ward III Polling Unit 005.

“I am not easily frustrated, but it is embarrassing as a candidate that the card reader could not easily capture my hand,’’ he said.

Oke noted that the electoral process in the country was not a perfect one yet.

Oke who voted at 9.17 a.m., however, said he was impressed with the turnout of voters in Ilaje council area.
