The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief John Odigie Oyegun, has again lost in his polling unit to the Peoples Democratic Party, in the ongoing Edo State governorship election.

Oyegun who voted at Oredo Ward 2, Unit 1, has not won election for his party in the unit since joining the APC.

The returning officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission, while announcing results from the Unit, said the APC scored 69 votes, while the PDP scored 78 votes.

Meanwhile the APC governorship candidate, Godwin ‎Obaseki won in his Ward 4 polling unit 19 in Oredo Local Government Area. In the results announced by electoral officials APC scored 160 while PDP got 77.
