Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has admonished Muslims to reflect on all the teachings during the holy month of Ramadan at all times.

The governor also assured the people of the state of free and fair conduct of the coming local government election.

Amosun stated this during his sallah message to the people on Wednesday at the Eid-el-Fitri praying ground, Oke Lantoro, Abeokuta.

He advised the people to remain calm and steadfast in their dealings with others, adding that all that had been dropped during the month of Ramadan should not be returned to.

“I want to congratulate every Muslim, and non Muslims as well. Let’s reflect on the teachings we were taught during the 30 days of fasting. Both Muslims and the Christians must remain calm and exhibit tolerance among ourselves.

“I want to admonish you all to continue to pray for this country and the leaders, all what we moved away from must completely be away from”, the governor said.
