A British Airways flight from London to South Africa was forced to land in Nigeria early Tuesday morning because of bad weather in the former apartheid enclave.

Sources at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport told P.M.NEWS that the plane landed around 4 a.m. at the airport.

All the passengers inside the aircraft disembarked and have been lodged at Transcorp Hilton hotel, Abuja, it was gathered.
