Ondo 2016: Boroffice gets indigenes in Diaspora backing

Ahead of the 2016 Ondo governorship election, the ‎support base of the senator representing Ondo North and All Progressives Congress governorship aspirant, Prof. Ajayi Boroffice, soared to an international horizon recently as the Ondo State Association Atlanta and Boroffice Support Group in Atlanta, Georgia declared their support.

On Friday, 8 January, ‎Senator Ajayi Boroffice and his entourage participated in strategic consultative sessions with the Ondo State Association Atlanta (OSAA) and the Boroffice Support Group in Atlanta Georgia, United States of America (USA).

The meeting with OSAA was hosted by its ex-officio, Mr Rufus Oladapo and it had in attendance: the president, Prince Martins Olagbeg; vice president, Tayo Idowu; secretary, Sola Olorunsola‎; members of the executive committee and other members of the association.

Speakers at the consultative sessions reached consensus that ‎Ondo state is blessed with huge potentials and resources that are yet to be properly harnessed and chanelled to productive ventures in contemplation of elevating majority of the people from avertible harsh economic challenges to self-sufficiency and prosperity.

Furthermore, participants at the two separate events agreed that the 2016 Ondo governorship election offers a fresh window to the people to exercise their franchise rights that would ultimately determine their welfare and the future of Ondo State.

They passed unanimous verdict of confidence on the competence, capacity and ‎character of Senator Boroffice, with special emphasis on his charitable antecedents and proven commitment, to lead Ondo State to the horizon of greatness it deserves.

The parent body of Ondo Indigenes in Atlanta, Georgia urged the people of Ondo State to support the governorship aspiration of Senator Boroffice who enjoys soaring popularity, dazzling pedigree, unbending forthrightness, and fertile history of donations and impacts to societal development in Ondo State and beyond.

Withal, the meeting with the leadership and members of the Boroffice Support Group in Atlanta was well-attended. In attendance were; Messrs Oladokun Faduyile, Feyi Tijani, Segun Lawal, Shola Olurunsola, Funso Ojo, Kolade Oke, Adegoke Adekunle, Kennedy Adedotun Alade, Babatunde Olajobi, Alex Akinwumi, Taiwo Akingbehin, Oluseyi Awe, Michael Dada, Segun Ore, Temitope Aina, Abiola Adesida, Rokan Adekola and others.

To ensure the APC emerges victorious in the forthcoming governorship election in Ondo State‎, the Boroffice Support Group urged leaders and delegates of the APC to elect and present Senator Ajayi Boroffice to fly the flag of the party at the poll.
