Traffic School Debuts On Radio, Television

Traffic School, an innovative radio and television programme produced to enlighten Nigerians on traffic rules and regulations, as well as help them understand their responsibilities while on the road has been launched.

The new programme, an initiative of Traffic Warehouse Nig. Ltd, has its radio arm already airing on Lagos Traffic Radio 96.1FM every Tuesday while the television programme will debut in September.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Princewill Ugochukwu Amuchie, Chief Imagination Officer, CIO, Traffic Warehouse Nig. Ltd, said his company is committed to making sure that road and tarmac traffic issues are solved across the country through application of technology and contemporary traffic tools.

“We are committed to making sure that we take traffic issues to the next level by filling in the gaps created by inadequate information, education and enlightenment on traffic related issues in Nigeria. We want to help the federal, states and local government councils to maximize potentials in that sector and we are assuring Nigerians that Traffic School will be worth their while throughout the period it will run,” Amuchie assured.

He added that other areas his company intends to bring to the fore would be to push the knowledge of the people on issues pertaining to air, sea and rail traffic, so that more awareness would be achieved in those sectors, thereby creating an enabling environment for safety in Nigeria.

Traffic Warehouse Nig. Ltd, a subsidiary of Convitech Nig. Ltd, is a company that provides a one-stop shop for traffic safety solutions and traffic safety devices such as speed bumps, road stud, traffic cones, speed limit devices, reflective vests and road furniture.

Amuchie said Traffic School is his organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme designed to showcase every aspects of safety on Nigerian roads and other traffic related situations around Nigeria.
