The Marquee inside Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos will come alive Saturday night as multi-talented DJ Cuppy commences her first-ever Pan-Africa 8-Country tour.
The star studded Lagos edition of the tour tagged #CuppyTakesAfrica will feature a line-up of some of Africa’s biggest DJs and Producers.
PMNEWS gathered that during the night, DJ Cuppy will be supported by an all-star roll call beginning with a special presentation by seasoned DJ Jimmy Jatt and then dovetail into a non-stop performance by DJ Caise, DJ Obi, DJ Xclusive, DJ Olu, DJ Hazan and DJ Nana.
Also on the card at the strictly by invitation gig are famous music producers Legendary Beatz, Young John, Ikon, Pheelz, Studio Magic, Spellz and Leriq.
“This Lagos concert promises to be an unforgettable night of good music and pure entertainment,” a message from DJ Cuppy PR reps stated.
The very ambitious tour will also see DJ Cuppy (born Ifeoluwa Florence Otedola) displaying her dexterity on the wheels of steel on major cities of Dakar, Senegal on 5 August; Accra, Ghana on 7 August; Nairobi, Kenya on 10 August; Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on 15 August; Kigali, Rwanda on 21 August; Kampala, Uganda on 22 August and a final stop in Johannesburg, South Africa on 29 August.
The very talented daughter of business mogul, Femi Otedola, told PMNEWS recently: “It has always been in my plans to go around Africa doing my thing, and I’m glad we will be doing that soon.”
Cuppy Takes Africa is a non-paid ticketed event presented by GT Bank plc, along with the tour’s main sponsors: Dangote Foundation, Red Velvet Music Group Limited and Stargaze.
