New Governor of Cross River State, Senator Ben Ayade has turned the heat on the civil servants as he wants them to resume at 8am every working day.

He started the enforcement of punctuality on Monday, his first day at work, when he locked out some of the workers who resumed late. He later pardoned them and said henceforth lateness to work would not be tolerated.

The action which left everyone in the state wondering, was, however welcomed by some while others do not find the development funny.
