Monday 11 May was the birthday of popular showbiz personality Adebola ‘Danku’s Adepitan. And Danku, head of management of Oritsefemi’s MSN Gang, got a surprise party put together by his friends and star singers, D’Banj and Oritsefemi.
The birthday gig held at a popular hangout in Lagos also had in attendance other celebrities including DJ Neptune, Puffy Tee, DJ Switch, TJ, Orezi and Skales, who all came to celebrate the great artiste manager.
Epe, Lagos-born Danku, whose interest in music started while in his teens, has grown in the industry, starting as a manager of popular singer, Konga. He was later poached by Foxtrox Music as its A&R executive. While with the label, he helped nurture the career of Slim Joe and saw to the signing of Benin Republic-born Lace.
Danku, who loves raw talents, later invested in another upcoming artiste, Oluwaseun. Under Danku, Oluwaseun blossomed as he released various songs with established stars including Olamide, Terry G, Reminisce and Oritsefemi.
He has also worked with Klever Jay before pitching his tent with Oritsefemi.
