Kannywood actress, Rahama Sadau has been suspended for six months by the Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria over a claim that she was denied a role in a movie for refusing sexual overtures of a director.
In a letter conveying the suspension, Rahama was suspended over an allegation that she violated the association’s rule and regulations by sabotaging the producers and threatening to stop recording in the middle of a production.
But in a post on her Instagram page, Rahama had accused a producer simply known as Zango of firing her from his movie titled Duniyan Makaranta after she rejected his love advances.
Efforts to contact Rahama for her comment on the issue proved abortive as calls put to her mobile telephone did not pull through.
