ICPC commends family for handing son over for investigation

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), on Friday, commended Mr John Ibrahim’s family for handing their son, Joseph, over to the commission for investigation.

ICPC spokesman, Folu Olamiti in a statement in Abuja, said Joseph was declared wanted by the ICPC over fraudulent activities.

Olamiti said the declaration was published in an advertorial in the Daily Trust newspaper of Monday, Feb. 9.

“Two days after, his family and friends turned him in at the ICPC Headquarters in Abuja.

“Joseph is in ICPC custody and has been very cooperative and has made useful statements.

“The ICPC is using this medium to praise the family and friends of Joseph for their rare patriotic act”, he said.

Olamiti urged Nigerians to emulate the patriotic act adding that the renewed citizen participation in the fight against corruption was a step in the right direction.

He said the fight against corruption was a collective one.

Sincerely speaking, this was the normal practice in Nigeria before IBB introduced 419 into the country. Every family was very mindful of their family names and they did everything humanly possible to protect their honor. This was really not limited to any tribe: it cut across the whole nation because everyone believed that your word is your honor and those who were found to flout this practise were regarded as outcasts.

Thus, I am hereby wholeheartedly praising this unique family for their exemplary behavior which serves to remind the nation of their obligations to the wider society, the nation, and indeed, the entire universe. May God shower His Abundance and Blessings on them, Amen.

God would not bless such family because the ICPC is even more guilty of fraud than their son, if indeed he committed the act of fraud for which is accussed.

What a useless family,why would you give up your son because of some fraudulent activities, has the politician or rich given up their family members because of mere allegation, you will not be rewarded this is the most stupid family I have ever come across.
