This may sound a cheery news to music buffs, especially lovers of highlife music as videos of some evergreen songs of doyen of highlife music in Nigeria, Dr. Victor Abimbola Olaiya (OON), are set for release.
This revelation was made recently during the celebration of the ace trumpeter’s 84th birthday at Stadium Hotel, Surulere, Lagos, by Michael Odiong, representative of Olaiya’s handlers, Premier Music and made public by Bayode, one of the musician’s children.
The videos, according to Bayode, will be released by the middle of this month in commemoration of his father’s 84th birthday and as New Year’s gift from the highlife music legend.
