Still basking in the euphoria of their successful musical collaboration, “Broken”, music star and activist Lamboginny and fast rising rap artiste, Clay, have moved a step ahead in their activism as they took to the streets last weekend.

The duo were in a secluded rural community of Nanti village popularly called Snake Island in Lagos. The music stars, joined by the Nigerian Red Cross, were in the village to provide a life saving awareness on personal hygiene and environmental sanitation.

Apart from donating hygiene materials, medical experts were also on ground to give lectures on Ebola virus and how to combat its spread as well maintaining a clean hand and safety environment.

The event was jointly put together by Lamboginny and Clay and supported by Jevinik Restaurants.

Also, the two artistes have announced an offer of a full time scholarship to a primary school pupil and a secondary school student respectively ahead of school resumption. The scholarship will be awarded to the two #BROKEN children that have no support for education at all. Entries are expected to be submitted by people who know any of such kids. The winner will be announced and contacted as soon as possible before school resumption on the BEAT 99.9 FM Lagos.
