Nollywood sweetheart and Time 100 honouree, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, music star, 2Face Idibia and Peace Anyam-Osigwe, Founder/CEO of Africa Movie Academy Awards, AMAA, have been confirmed as speakers and panelists at the umbrella summit for Nigeria’s entertainment industry, Nigerian Entertainment Conference holding on 23 April at the Grand Ball Room of Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

The entertainment confab will have these accomplished showbiz figures speaking on the theme for this year: “Creating Pathways to the Future”, with sessions on Nollywood, Social Responsibility, Information Technology, Music, Media and Business.

“Just like last year, our speakers and panelists this year are the best in their fields, with an incredible passion for the development of the industry,” said Ayeni Adekunle, the Conference Chairman.

According to him, NEC 2014 will feature a keynote address on this year’s theme, main papers on each of the sessions, panel discussions, and a daylong exhibition.

Other confirmed speakers are Ope Awoyemi, co-founder, Jobberman; Edi Lawani, revered showbiz consultant; Basketmouth, Nigerian comedian; Bukola Akingbade, Digital marketing expert; Olumide Iyanda, award-winning journalist; Olisa Adibua, broadcaster and entertainment executive; Chris Ihidero, Chairman, NET editorial board and Uche Jombo, respected actress-producer.
