Fast rising artiste and sultry singer, Seyi Shay, has said that she has great admiration and respect for pop star, 2Face Idibia, who gave her the first stage performance opportunity in Nigeria when she returned from the United States.

Seyi, known for her hit singles including Irawo and Ragga Ragga, stated this while she appeared as this week’s studio guest and co-host with popular MTV Base VJ Ehiz on Nigeria’s weekly show, MTV Base Official Naija Top 10.

“I have so much respect for 2Face. He is my mentor and I have learnt a lot from him and his work. He also got me my very first gig in Nigeria and since then, I have only continued to move higher. I am grateful for every opportunity I have to work with him or perform on the same stage with him, “said Seyi.
