Bayern Munich Lock Up Boateng Until 2018

Bayern Munich continue to lock up the key players to their recent run of success as the treble winners on Wednesday.

The club agreed to a three-year extension with German international defender Jerome Boateng until June 30, 2018.

“Jerome has had a great development with us and is one of the important players for FC Bayern,’’ said chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

“For this reason, it was logical for us to look at a contract extension. And we achieved that today. We are all satisfied.’’

Munich recently extended their deal with David Alaba until 2018, as well.
