Police in Nairobi are still investigating the death of a young man who reportedly committed suicide on Saturday after English Premier League (EPL) champions, Manchester United, went down at home to Newcastle.

The United fan met his death in Nairobi’s Pipeline Estate after Newcastle beat Manchester United 1-0.

Identified as John Macharia, the fan reportedly jumped from the seventh floor of the building where he was living and died instantly.

According to his friends, Macharia, who was watching the match in a pub in the estate, left the social joint terribly disappointed and later jumped from the seventh floor of a residential building.
