Nigeria’s home-based players are expected to commence training today in Abuja ahead of the 2014 Africa Nations Championship CHAN competition billed for South Africa.

Media Officer of the team, Benjamin Alaiya, said that the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is leaving nothing to chance to ensure that the team are adequately prepared for the championship.

Alaiya further hinted that the technical crew of the Eagles has been mandated to do all within their means to ensure that they have a formidable team for the competition which Nigeria are playing for the first time. Already the invited players are in their Abuja camp getting set for the training sessions with Coach Stephen Keshi.
