The Taraba state acting Governor, Alhaji Garba Umar, has sacked the state Head of Service, Mr Augustine Bazing.
Umar also sacked the Chairman of the state Universal Basic Education Board, Mr Hilkia Mafindi.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr Garvey Yawe on Tuesday in Jalingo, said Mrs Asabe Maiangwa has been appointed acting Head of Service while Mr Danladi Balutu has been appointed as the new SUBEB chairman.
It said that the governor also approved the transfer of some permanent secretaries.
Under the new arrangement, Mr Habila Jaman replaced Mrs Lydia Baba as permanent secretary in the Ministry of Finance while Baba moved to the Ministry of Women Affairs.
Alhaji Abdulmumini Ndoba was moved to Ministry of Agriculture to take over from Mr Ifraimu Kifasi, who now takes charge of Bureau for Land and Survey.
According to the statement, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim has been moved to the Ministry of Works as permanent secretary while Alhaji Aliyu Noma takes charge of Home Affairs.
