A national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is billed to launch a new book on Nigeria’s former President, Chief Olusegun
Obasanjo.

Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State and Obasanjo are publicly known not to be best of friends, but the ceremony hitherto scheduled for today would have had him as chief launcher.

The launching in Abeokuta today has been postponed indefinitely.

The book titled:”President of all Presidents”, written by one Mr Paul Oni which chronicles the life of Obasanjo was supposed to be launched today at the Olusegun Obasanjo
Presidential Library, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta was put off at the final hour.

Journalists and political observers in Abeokuta and its environs who have heard about the pre-launch advertising were this morning disappointed when the security people at the Presidential Library informed them that the programme has been postponed indefinitely.

Speaking with our correspondent on phone this evening, the author of the book, Mr Paul Oni disclosed that the absence of the former President had caused the postponement of the programme.

“The programme was postponed because Baba Obasanjo is not around, he is out of the country now and I can assure you that when he comes back, another date will be fixed for the book launch”, Oni revealed.

On the speculation that both Tinubu and Obasanjo will not likely share the podium, , Oni said, “that is not true, both of them have agreed to grace the occasion and
I can assure you that they will seat side by side on that day. Baba is the man the book chronicled and Asiwaju Jagaban is the Chief Launcher. Another date will be fixed as I earlier said for the programme”.
