“Ice Prince started his music career in 2004 and has worked hard to take his music to the world stage. I am not surprised to see him come out with a successful second album,” Maikori said.

Ifunanya Battles Tracy For GUS 10 Last Female Standing

With the eviction of Martha Adeboye in the Snake Maze challenge, the battle for the Last Female Contestant Standing is now between Ifunanya Onike and Tracy Chapelle.

In Gulder Ultimate Search, The Last Female Contestant Standing attracts a N1 million cash prize, in addition to whatever prize money the last female contestant carts home, based on performance.

Earlier in the Search, Tracy reluctantly went head to head against Ifunanya in the Mud of War challenge. She had earlier opted to challenge Martha Adeboye who belonged to the defunct

Spears tribe but her choice was voided by Chidi Mokeme, the anchor man, who insisted that she had to go against Ifunanya, who easily won her in the task. While Ifunanya belonged to the Spears tribe, Tracy was a member of the Swords. However, the remaining contestants from both tribes have now been fused into the Hammer tribe.

The fusion of both tribes brought to an end the mentorship roles played by Ezugo Egwuagwu and Dominic Mudabai. While Ezugo, the first ever winner of Gulder Ultimate Search, mentored the Spears, Dominic, winner of GUS 4, guided the Swords.

Of the 12 contestants that entered for GUS 10, only eight made it to the Hammer tribe stage. They are Edmund Chukwubuike, Bobby Ezidi, Kunle Salako, Tracy Chapele, Ifunanya Onike, Martha Adeboye, Dennis Okike and Anthony Brosu.

However, Martha and Anthony have already been evicted for losing out in the Snake Maze challenge. Martha wished she had the opportunity of staying a little bit longer on the show and blamed her eviction on leg pains. Stating that she was disappointed at her exit, she stated that she possessed physical endurance and mental strength.

She also felt elated that she would be reunited with her identical twin sister, Mary, who was evicted earlier in the show.

Martha said: “I feel happy joining my sister because I felt I had been away from her for so long. We were not in the same tribe so we only got to say hello/hi, we never got to interact and talk to each other.”

She however predicted that either Edmund or Ifunanya would win emerge the GUS 10 Ultimate champion.

Anthony also stated that his eviction was unexpected and came as a big shock to him. “My eviction came to me as a big shock actually, I did not expect it but that’s Gulder Ultimate Search for you, you have to expect the unexpected. I have that endurance but the ability to really calm down and reason is quite a bit difficult for me and we have been without food for some time now. Everybody’s system is not the same,” he remarked.

During his stay in the jungle, Anthony constantly bickered with Dennis.

Speaking on their relationship, he noted: “Dennis being happy that I’m out before him, for me, it’s his problem, let him swallow it. I see Dennis as a child that seeks attention, that’s how I see him, so if he is happy that I’m out before him that’s his problem. He sees everything as competition, for me everything is not competition.

“One thing I have learnt from being a leader is never try to please everybody. The moment you try it, you miss out. Being a leader is the ability to look at those you see as your subordinate or followers and know what they need or want and give it to them.”
