Media Officer of 3SC Football Club of Ibadan, Jubril Arowolo, has declared that the team will leave nothing to chance to ensure that they return to the Globacom Premier League next season after their relegation in the just concluded season.

The Oluyole Warriors lost 0-2 to Kaduna United yesterday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, in their last match of the league.

With this defeat, Shooting Stars have 46 points on the table and were relegated with other three teams to the lower division. Arowolo told our reporter early today that though the players are sad about the club’s relegation, they have promised to take the club back to the summit next season.

“We want to use this medium to apologise to our fans at this moment. Truly we disappointed them. We want them to continue supporting the club because the players have resolved to bring the team back to the premier league next season,” he said.

Commenting on whether the coaching crew and management will be dissolved after the club’s poor outing, Arowolo said majority of the players will stay with the club, but refused to say anything about the future of the coaching crew and the management of the club.

“We just left Kaduna now and I cannot confirm if the coaching crew and the management will be dissolved, but I can assure our fans that majority of the players will stay with the club,” he said.

Asked if the 3SC fans will support their sister club, Crown FC in the premier league next season, Arowolo disclosed that there is no rivalry between the fans of both clubs, adding that 3SC fans will give their total support to Crown FC.
